As an effeminate child, Jonnie identified as transgender, desiring to become female. This put her at odds with her dysfunctional parents, leading to abandonment. She was placed in foster care, where she was abused mentally and physically. Despite extreme early-life adversity, one would never know she thought of herself as anything other than a goddess.
